If you’re ready to turn your ambition into a fulfilling career, look no further. Here at NFU Mutual, we’re passionate about developing individuals who can help shape our future. That’s why if you join one of our Business Graduate Trainee Schemes, you’ll be empowered and supported to own and grow your career in the direction you choose. Within Business you have the opportunity to specialise in one of four different areas; project management, customer service, IT and operational auditing.
What does the scheme offer?
You’ll get exposure to all areas of the business and gain hands-on practical experience in whichever area you choose. Our auditor roles offer a balance of soft skills and technical knowledge to equip you for your future career. Within project management, you’ll have the chance to work on one or two change programmes as they take place across the organisation. If you join our customer service scheme you’ll rotate between various areas including underwriting and claims.
What’s in it for you?
We firmly believe that being actively involved in projects helps you to learn and develop faster. We’ll give you everything you need to shape your career and you’ll be supported every step of the way, with a dedicated buddy and mentor on hand to guide you. Your professional development is important to us, so we’ll help you work towards a range of relevant qualifications, whether that’s ACII (Chartered Insurance Institute), CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants), CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or similar. We will make sure the qualification you undertake is relevant to the Scheme you’re joining us on.
What we are looking for
You’ll have an enthusiastic, positive nature and a proactive attitude. You’re self-motivated and always keen to learn, so you’ll get stuck in to every challenge. With good time management skills, you’ll always be organised and able to handle the opportunities that come your way. You’ll be great with people, ready to collaborate across different teams and build strong working relationships at every level.
